Welcome to Canterbury Lawn Tennis Club

Among the leading clubs in the South East, Canterbury Lawn Tennis Club manages to combine size and superb facilities with a friendly, family atmosphere. We have six flood-lit astro courts for all-weather play plus grass courts which are to be re-sited soon.

We have about 200 senior and 80 junior members, all of whom, as part of their membership, are also registered to play in the superb new Indoor Tennis Centre at Polo Farm (directions).

We have more than 20 teams playing in the Kent, East Kent and Dover & District Leagues.  In addition individual members represent both the county and the country. But we are not all champions and beginners and returners are equally welcome and there are five friendly mix-in sessions every week.

As for all other sports at Polo Farm we actively promote tennis in the area through close links with the councils and local schools.  We are committed to developing junior tennis through a structured coaching programme.

We have our own small pavilion and share the Polo Farm Clubhouse with the other sports clubs on the 47 acre site (directions).
