Once again we will be running 8 teams that will play in the local leagues being 2 at Under 11, 13 and 15, an Under 15 Girls team and an Under 18 team.

The club has the benefit of the amazing Indoor Sports Centre based at Polo Farm Sports Club.
It boasts a state of the art surface for cricket, with high quality lighting and 10 net spaces. The facility has already started to be used by Kent Coaches, Area cricket and a number of different local clubs.
Plans are also in the pipeline for a new Pavilion for the cricket club that should be started in 2018.
Our Kwik Cricket for Primary age children starts on the first Saturday in May. The sessions will be run every Saturday from 9.30 to 11.30 and costs £4 per session. Just come along an join in. Contact Jamie Harris at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
This year we have decided to use our Sunday matches as development for our younger players. We have arranged several fixtures for those that want to play, and also a number of Development fixtures for our 15-20 year old players against like-minded clubs. The idea is to give you a chance of playing men’s cricket but to bat and bowl in your usual position and to have a chance of playing the longer form of the game. Contact Richard Durrant for more information if you’d be interested in playing.
As a good sized club there is often a misconception that we are overflowing with players. We are always on the look-out for new players to play in any of our 5 teams that play across the weekend or our Junior sides that play in the week and on Sundays. If you are interested, please make contact with Stuart Drakeley (senior) or Richard Durrant (junior).
We are delighted to say that we have been re-accredited as a Clubmark club for another 3 year (certificate attached). This is testament to all of the hard work that people put in behind the scenes week after week all year round to make Canterbury such a good place to play cricket and meet new friends. Thank you to all those that work so hard giving up their time to help the club.
Our junior sides won their leagues in 4 of the 8 leagues and 1 of the cups and were runners up in 2 of the other 3 showing what a wonderful talented bunch of young cricketers we have at the club.
Our club is intending to run some further Fourth XI matches this year following on from last years successful start where a young side beat Northdown in the club’s first ever fixture
