Canterbury Cricket Club (formerly Beverley Cricket Club) is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the country. We are always keen to recruit new members - so if you're keen to play a good standard of cricket, please get in touch via the big green button opposite.
Based at Polo Farm Sports Ground on the outskirts of Canterbury we have
2 quality cricket squares, cricket nets and training facilities. View our facilities.
We have close connections with Kent County Cricket Club (also based in Canterbury), and they too use Polo Farm as their training ground.
This has meant assistance over the last couple of seasons with players and coaches helping out with training sessions for the Juniors, together with their ground staff helping with the maintenance and preparation of wickets.
We also host a number of Kent age group fixtures across the season as well as Kent 2nd XI, Kent Ladies and the Kent Disability Squad fixtures.
We run 3 adult teams playing in the Kent League, Kent Feeder League East on Saturdays and 1 Sunday side that plays a range of rriendly fixtures.
For those wishing to escape the demands of league cricket, our Sunday Development Side offers a more social cricketing option.
We also have a thriving Juniors section with ClubMark accreditation. We provide cricket coaching and match play for all age groups.
We also have 3 men teams playing Indoor cricket over the winter months, as well as an Under 13 side and two Under 15 sides playing in the local league.
In addition we also have a new Womens and Girls Section starting over the winter months and we have entered the Women’s League programme for 2017. More info to follow shortly, but come along to our Open Day from 11-2pm on 24th September.
Whether you play, umpire or prefer to watch from the boundary edge, your support on match days is much appreciated - view fixtures.
We enjoy superb sponsorship from the local business community, please return their generosity by using their services and recommending them to family and friends.
