Canterbury Cricket Club has thriving junior section with teams at U11, U13 and U15 playing in the local league and cup competitions.
Clubmark: Canterbury Cricket Club was the first club in the district to be awarded ClubMark in 2006 and ECB Focus club status from the Kent Cricket Board in 2008.
Chance to Shine: The Chance to Shine [C2S] campaign launched in 2005 is the largest grass roots sporting campaign in UK history backed by the Cricket Foundation with the aim of promoting cricket in state schools. Canterbury Cricket Club is one of a small number of clubs in Kent delivering the programme to six primary schools in 2008. The schools taking part are Beauherne, Briary, Kingsmead, Parkside, Diocesan Payne Smith and St Thomas'.
Indoor Nets: Indoor nets take place on Sunday mornings at Canterbury High School starting on 17 February 2008. U11s from 10-11am and U13-U15 from 11-12pm.
Training: Cricket coaching for U11-U15s from ECB qualified coaches takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6- 7.30pm with registration at 5.45pm starting on 15 April 2008.
Kwik Cricket: Kwik sessions for primary school boys and girls in Years 1-6 take place at Polo Farm on Saturday mornings from 9.30-11.30am starting on 26th April. Cost is £3 per session. Equipment provided.

Subscriptions for 2008: The cost of junior membership is £40. Subscriptions are due on 1 May. Unlike some other clubs we do not charge match fees.
Kit: Club shirts are available priced at £10.
