The pick of the bowlers for Canterbury were Dale Clarkson in his first season with the Club with excellent figures of 9-1-18-1. He was ably supported by the other bowlers and in particular Chris Jay who bowled his 6 overs for just 11 runs. In reply, most of the batsmen contributed to the score of 163 for 6, Paul Steer (29 not out) and skipper Mike Burnett (25 not out) seeing the side home with 3.2 overs to spare.
