About CCC

Canterbury Cricket Club, formally Beverley Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the country. (See the main links for more of our history.)

The Club runs five teams playing in the Kent League, Kent Feeder League East and East Kent League whilst the Sunday 2nd XI remains the safe haven for those that wish to escape the demands of league cricket. There is also a thriving junior section with ClubMark accreditation with cricket coaching and match play for all age groups. Please check out About CCC and Junior Cricket using the links above.

The modern era of club cricket relies heavily on sponsorship from our local business community.

Recent News TROPHIES TO BE RETURNED PLEASE Published 2/09/2008 With the end of season now looming fast, can all those with trophies that were won last year please return them to Grahame Bennett so they can be prepared for this seasons winners, many thanks. DINNER & PRESENTATION EVENING Published 2/09/2008 This seasons annual Dinner and Presentation evening will take place on Friday 3rd October 2008 at Polo Farm - 7pm for 7.30pm. The cost for the evening is £15.00 and £12.00 for those aged 16 and under. Please make every effort to attend and hopefully the evening will be yet another success, as it has been in previous years. FANTASTIC NEWS AS 2ND XI GAIN PROMOTION Published 31/08/2008

Congratulations go to Cantrebury 2nd XI who yesterday secured their promotion to Division 1 of the KCL 2nd XI league. They achieved this by beating OD Cuaco C.C. by a crushing 10 wickets. Having dismissed Cuaco for just 88, skipper Mark Slaughter led his side home with a 60 not out, ensuring their return immediately to Division 1. Many congratulations to Slaughts and his entire squad of players who made this possible throught the season.

CONGRATULATIONS CAIDEN ON REACHING THE BIG 1000 Published 30/07/2008 Congratulations go out to Caiden Lang who has reached a fantastic 1000 runs for the season so far. With just over half the season gone this is an amazing effort by Caiden who has served the Club excellently as our overseas player for the season. Well done mate and may there be many more runs from that bat during the rest of the season!!
